About

This is the first album they recorded without their original guitarist Rod Price. The guitarist on this album is Erik What is random chat and he has a different style than Rod Price. I think Rod was quite the master of slide guitar and although Cartwright is decent enough,he isn't in the same league as Price. This is a sort of transition album for the band - from rock more towards pop.

It's still a good album, though it's upbeat, energetic, and fun but not as seriously rock 'n' roll as some of their albums. The guitarist on this album is Erik Cartwright and he has a different style than Rod Price.

There came in time in Foghat's deerfield horny chat when their what we now cchat classic rock sound wasn't selling as much and this was one of the band's attempts at keeping up with the times and going a little more mainstream. It doesn't have that same driving, heavy beat of, say, Night Shift. My favorite tracks are probably "Second Childhood" and "Weekend Driver". It's supposed to sound "live" with a crowd in the background, etc.
